We want to post some of our videos to YouTube, but we don't want YouTube's recommended videos to appear at the end. The recommendations aren't always appropriate. How can I prevent those from appearing? Thank you! -Donald from Modesto, CA, listens to my national radio show on KFIV 1360 AM. ANSWER The bad news, Donald, is that there's no option for turning off recommended videos on YouTube's site. You also can't control what recommended videos are shown. However, there are some workarounds and alternatives. You can turn off recommended videos when you embed a YouTube video on another website. Open your video and click the Share button and then the Embed button. Below the embed code, deselect Show Suggested Videos and embed away. Read on for some other ways to avoid unwanted recommendations on your online videos. I also cover how to share your videos privately. >> It's the Ides of March, the day lionized in William Shakespeare's play Julius Caesar. To celebrate, here's a great collection of Shakespeare apps.
