A new online shopping experience

The best thing about Amazon is that you can find pretty much anything you might want to buy. It's got everything for sale from auto parts to zoot suits. With so much stuff to look at, the site can get cluttered.

Now Amazon is launching a simpler, cleaner interface called Windowshop. It's brand new and still in beta, but it's drastically different from the classic design.

Inspired by the touch screens on tablet computers, Windowshop has ditched text-based hyperlinks and opted for large clickable pictures of products. Slide around the giant homepage of featured bestsellers. With one click, you can narrow by category.

Finding trailers, customer reviews and similar products has never been easier. There's even a free downloadable version for mobile devices.
