It's a buyer's market

Shopping online doesn't immediately mean you find a bargain. Auction sites can drive up prices, and retailers can still overcharge. You often feel like you're at the mercy of the vendor.

Now, the tables have turned! For Wanted is a new Web service that reverses the traditional buyer/seller relationship. Instead of browsing through endless sites, simply post exactly what you want to buy and how much you're willing to pay. The seller comes to you!

If you are a seller, For Wanted connects you to an interested buyer instantly. No more cold calls or hard sells.

It helps to be specific when posting your want ad, and For Wanted makes it easy. You can attach product links, serial numbers and specify what condition you expect your purchase to be in.

For Wanted is free to use, but you'll need to sign up with a current email address. The site is currently in its beta testing phase, so you may encounter bugs.
