Happy Pi Day!

Pi, as I hope you know, is the mathematical concept that helps you find the area of a circle. In actual numbers, Pi is often shorthanded to 3.14.

It should come as no surprise then that March 14th, or 3/14, is Pi Day. Even if you don't like math, it's a great excuse to eat delicious pie.

Of course, Pi doesn't just stop at 3.14. It's an irrational number, which means it goes on forever. Don't believe me? Check out the official Pi Day site.

It shows Pi listed out to one million digits! The site also contains more information about Pi, along with e-cards you can send your mathematically savvy friends.

Not in the mood for math? How about some music? This musical interpretation of Pi is very cool. The first part of the video explains how the song was made. If that doesn't interest you, then jump ahead to 45 seconds.
