A map of the news

When your news comes from one source, you pretty much take what you're given. On the other hand, keeping up with dozens of different sites requires a lot of reading to find the few stories you're most interested in.

Here's a unique way to focus on the news that matters to you. It's called Hubii, and it's a new website that collects news articles and indexes them by type and publishing location.

Hubii's best feature is a map-based system of browsing news sources. It looks just like Google Maps, with icons for a story's location. You can find out what is trending where, and organize stories by topic.

Another great tool is called "Mapazine," which allows you to store sources to a customized profile. Essentially, Hubii allows you to build your own newspaper that you can easily share to your social networks.
