Play chess for fun

Chess has been called "The Game of Kings." But you don't have to be royalty or a grandmaster to enjoy it.

Try 100% Free Chess. This game has fun sounds and animations. An interactive tutorial will teach you some handy tricks.

It has several fun variations on the standard chess formula. You can play lightning-fast timed matches, or start a game with the pieces randomly distributed. There's even a mode where you must lose all your pieces.

You'll have to submit your email address to download the program, but just checkmark the box to avoid receiving any emails in return.
